I go by Wink Wonk online. You can call me Wink if you want to. No worries if you dont want to refer to me at all haha...
I got the name from a friend in high school. She used to say "wink wonk" instead of "wink wink" and I thought it was cute so I stole it. I'm a (community) college dropout. When I was 18, I thought I wanted to be a concept artist, coming up with cool ideas for cool video games, but I didn't have the money to pay for college tuition and I was scared to death of taking on student loans and living my adult life in massive debt (United States) so I learned some marketable IT skills and got a job as the IT help guy for a company, fixing printers and troubleshooting laptop issues.

Now I'm a software engineer for money, but I consider myself an artist. I flip between mediums constantly. I have no intention of monetizing my art, so I just do whatever I find compelling at the moment. I wanted this site to be a showcase of all of the different skills I've picked up over the years of bouncing between hobbies. I created the logo, the background, the layout, and even the font you see on the hyperlinks on the sides. Basically, if you don't see something in the credits, you can assume I created it myself. (note: there aren't any credits yet because I haven't used any resources I didn't create. I expect that to change as I add stuff to the site. Hopefully I remember to remove this note lol.)

I live in the U.S. with ideations of expatriation. I grew up in Southern California, but I love the cold and rarely leave my house so I moved to a state that snows. (or has any weather besides the occasional wildfire) I do miss the food though. I often reminisce about standing in front of Chiva Torta in my office clothes with pepper sauce running down my forearm and snot dripping down my face. (spicy) But it's a small price to pay to own my own home and avoid 100+ degree weather.
